She already played nice with Bush. She can fuck off forever.

I'm a big Star Wars fan and the "May the 4th" thing has always been the dumbest shit ever to me. I get the pun and all that but for fuck's sake, the actual anniversary of the original film is in the same damn month; just go with that. Also, it's not like these movies don't get plenty of attention year-round.
"Rupert Murdoch even going so far as to release a public statement that
highlights the role Shine played in turning Fox News into “the nation’s
biggest and most important cable channel in the history of
television”—which seems wildly hyperbolic, but whatever"
And yes, then explain it to me Mr. Smart Person
Not really. Her show isn't all that progressive and there have been a number of really bad bits on her show that betray any sense of actual progressivism. Also, there's the Rikers thing.
Both liberals' and conservatives' visions for good government are fucking retarded.
POP ON DOWN TO THE WHITE HOUSE, MR. CHAPO
Her political views are kind of all over the place if anything. She'll espouse some really left-wing view (wasn't she trying to run for president in the Green Party once?), then call all Muslims terrorists or something in the same breath.
Can't wait for the episode where Roseanne compares Muslims to Nazis
Off the top of my head? Nathan For You, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Rick and Morty, Broad City, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
But there are plenty of vastly better shows. The fact that The Simpsons is better than a couple particularly awful programs doesn't really mean anything.
It's pretty bad. It has a few jokes that were decent considering the year of the show that was in. But it's still embarrassing and stupid.
Apparently the standard for quality television now is merely "better than Modern Family or Big Bang Theory"
Nah it sucks. That whole run of shows was just embarrassing.
They did use it in earlier seasons but it was used much more overwhelmingly starting around season 9 or 10. It used to be they would do that every now and then, and the first act would at least fit into the episode thematically in some way. (Not Boy Scoutz necessarily.) By season 11 it was just every episode opening…
No sane person's favorite Simpsons episode is the Tomacco one. The show had gotten shitty as fuck by then.
Personally I wouldn't endorse or even necessarily vote for Mello. However, AGAIN, the things you are describing about Kaine are true of Mello - he's actually been far more forceful about moving away from his past positions on abortion than Kaine, who supported the Hyde amendment much more recently than Mello supported…
Probably Sorkin/The Social Network. I hate Sorkin, I think The West Wing is basically childish nonsense for liberals who don't want to live in the real world and sold them all sorts of awful ideas about how politics actually work, that famous opening speech on The Newsroom is condescending awful trash, his treatment…
Several of the things you say are just factually incorrect. To break it down:
Sure, but that's not a high bar and the party had better options available to them. They didn't. It's partly their fault we have fucking Pence to begin with.
