It's kinda like an FF mashup with Dr. Who.

SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!

Only if Lucy Liu gets lots of shower scenes and lingerie-clad pillow fights with the 'bots.

Diabolik is da bomb, also the inspiration for the Beastie Boys' Body Movin' video.

Yawn. Gee, a comic film that's going to be "gritty" how very original. What I'd love to see is a faithful adaption of the early comic books. Have the story take place in the early 60's, give it a sci-fi retro New Frontier look. Have a lot of KIRBY DOTS for crying out loud!

I'm going to try and work "It's like a soup from Walmart." into conversation every chance I get.

Where I come from, tweeting meant killing hobos for kicks, not prostitutes.

Rapey-Rape and the Funky Rape Bunch?

Isn't that an Iron Butterfly song?

I'm going to have to use Stubble McBeefslap as a future username.

Does that mean in 5-10 years we'll get the "gritty reboot?"

Hee, I didn't even think about that until you mentioned it. Nice!

Any villain with a tied up male prostitute captive in one of his spare bedrooms is okay in my book.

Great point. I also believe that the death of true local programming was a factor as well.

Being a child of pre-cable t.v. days, I've noticed time and again that my pop culture experience was weirder, richer and more varied than most post-cable people. Part of it was from being in the shadow of the baby boomers…I got to see lots of Marx Brothers and Abbott and Costello movies on the local channels after

Heterosexual males.

I squealed like a little girl when we got the x-ray view of how Deathlok is SUPPOSED to look. I'm hoping that they're merely taking baby steps for a final reveal, hopefully in the next episode. Then I realized that the Deathlok of the comics may be a tad too scary for a prime-time slot. Still…I have hope.

You're a national treasure.

And once again, that photo makes me feel all stabby.

We'll see how he fares in the comedy realm.
