I consider Die Hard: With A Vengeance the second best in the series. Why didn't somebody get Zeus to show up in the other films?

Count me as a Mortal Kombat fan as well. But i'll admit this after re-watching it recently, the fight scenes are decent, well shot but not spectacular. There's better stuff out there in terms of quality action.
