Marvel was willing to give Fox an extension on Daredevil, if Fox would give them Doom, Silver Surfer, Galactus and a few others. Fox told them to fuck off, so Marvel is just waiting for the price to be as close to zero as possible.

Assuming the Fantastic Four movie does well, I assume Fox will use this as the inspiration for Doom in the sequel.

The Honda deal made them an insane amount of money, but Dan Harmon wants to wait until he misses Community to do a movie.
