Personally I thought the last few books made it hard to sustain interest in the book series.
You’d hope this time around they could start the True Blood world with a fully formed supernatural ecosystem.
Last few seasons were so bad, especially when they didn’t know what to do with certain characters. The way they continously tortured Tara only to give her some agency as a vampire and then kill her, Lafayette was such a fun character given the weirdest and most awful storyline (remember “Brujo shit”?). Then Bill’s…
Seconded. Mrs. Big and I never read the books, but we found the first season to be pretty interesting. I think we managed to watch all of season 2, but by 3/4 it was kind of a “meh, it’s on the DVR” watch, and by 5 we just couldn’t keep up.
I seem to remember the later books having major continuity problems and more than a few crazy things as well. The showrunners will need to find a good balance of what’s in the book versus what else they can bring.

Yeah, that price is just — wow. I *was* thinking I might try a pair, but $550 is WAY beyond “try” ... I’m not sure how even I could justify that cost, and I’m an idiot when it comes to spending money.
Yeek. I’m a huge fan of the H1 chip, and it’s led me in several cases to buy an Apple product over a comparable (or better) and cheaper non-Apple product, but at $550 I’m going to have to pass on this one.
During the Cold War, Americans still had rising wages and growing opportunities, two things the average American no longer has.
My GOD! It’s FULL OF SITH!
Dad would have liked that.
And if it was really possible to create pinprick-sized electronics that can transmit reliably, imagine how many problems that would solve right away. Like the lack of reception from T-Mobile inside some buildings in my area!
The worst type of person is the person who doesn’t even make $40,000 a year refusing to raise the tax rate on people that make that in a day.
Thread over, we have a winner.
They’re actually opening a mall nearby...
That is an excellent fucking password, though.
Ok, so that’s a model of the Colosseum as it stands today.
