Skip The Waldo Moment. It’s easily the weakest of the series.

Huckabee (like Carson and Fiorina) was one of those candidates that was running with literally no political motivations whatsoever. I think that if he got some sort of actual position in government out of this he’s be totally blindsided and wouldn’t know what to do. All he’s doing is advancing the brand of Huckabee.

S1 is on Netflix. Most of S2 is on Hulu.

But when you don’t do any of the work to show us that it comes off as “I dunno and then the black people get together I guess”.

Taking one isolated study, deciding you like it, and turning it into some universal law isn’t how studies work either.

I think when he’s not so impressed with his own cleverness at playing King Puzzlemaster he can actually make a decent movie.

There are many, many people in the world that would disagree with that study.

Yes. That movie did a lot of things wrong and the Khan “secret” was only one of them.

Average number of times I have to flip a USB cord so it plugs in: 4.

You mean Slade Wilson versus Wade Wilson? Totally different.

Yeah, I know how the “what’s your biggest weakness” game is played. Everyone does. That’s why it’s nonsense. (But what I was actually referring to was the article that talked about “did I get the job” as a question some people ask at the end of an interview)

People think that’s a good question to ask? Hell no. Sounds like a great mix of confrontational and desperate, two impressions you totally want to leave with an interviewer.

Agreed. That question/answer is the absolute worst.

I don’t know — Phasma’s immediate giving in and giving them access was pretty badass.

Maybe people were sick of Hunger Games movies? I know I was. I don’t remember if I bailed on the second or third one.

I thought Emma Watson was terrible in the first couple of movies. She got better later though.

...think she wrote a set of good books, but is not a good writer (not all that fine distinction)

I envision Ron quietly seething and resenting all of Hermoine’s successes throughout life. Ron always seemed like a bumbling clod while H was “one of the brightest witches of her age.” It always seemed like he could barely stand her until JKR flipped the “romance” switch.

Movie Hermione != book Hermione.

I’m there. The amazing coincidences in Star Wars (which takes place in an entire galaxy, mind you) are getting a bit tiresome. I also want Rey and Finn to be unrelated to anyone we’ve seen.
