I love the 2 (VII and VIII) most recent entries in the franchise. They are part of my Top 5 Star Wars movies.

It’s really hard to guess the quality with the next to nothing that they’ve shown so far.

Not one bit, fantasy shows like this that intend to last multiple seasons often go with relative nobodies for main characters. Keeps the salaries manageable when needed to be renewed and leaves more budget for the fantasy stuff.
