The way that it was in the theatrical cut was actually much better: Batman had prepped for the moment by bringing Lois because he’s smart. (One of a small handful of things that were better in the theatrical cut)

I hope you understand how profoundly unimpressive it is when you do this.
Lockpickinglawyer is some of the most relaxing and entertaining content around!
You’ll never see “TONY ALMOST GETS ARRESTED FOR WHAT HE DOES THIS WEEK!!!” on an episode of Acoustic Life’s ‘Acoustic Tuesday’ podcast, you can bet on that.
Yes - to the incorrect sequence of scenes. Exactly what I thought while reading this article. As for the rest, I respectfully disagree, I liked the scene even with Leto in it. “...and make no mistake —- I WILL fucking kill you.” Wouldn’t fit well into most Batman stories, but in the KKnightmare timeline, he may have…
“ANCIENT LAMENTATION MUSIC”
well good for him then, he managed to turn a homage into something everybody hated, good job
I’m sure eventually there will be a fan edit (like the several ones that are out there for the Hobbit trilogy*) that takes the best parts of the Whedon version, like the “Save one person” bit, inserts those into the Snyder Cut, and trims the fat, (so much slow motion!!) so the end result is a typical 2hr45 min…
My sense is Elliot couldn’t have asked for a better work environment for this transition to happen in. I was lukewarm on the show first season, but the extra focus and bump in comedy (and tragedy) and action in the second have made me a super fan for life. And how they dealt with Vanya especially was pretty sublime. I…
I’ve heard that the show plans to address it, which I think is pretty fantastic, supportive, and could lead to some bold, progressive storylines that I certainly hope includes a great Umbrella Academy dance sequence.
I’m in a similar position - I’m a developer that does code level support and 90% of the issues I resolve are not because I looked at the code and figured it out. I just look at what kind of methods they’re using and then google the error. Thanks stack exchange? *shrug*
Exactly. Nothing about ginormous earth monsters tearing up shit will ever make sense. It’s all about satisfying our inner six year old with monsters, explosions and chaos.
How sad is it that the android from 2004's I, Robot still looks better than DC’s Cyborg?
My one hope for all of this: I never have to hear about the fucking Snyder Cut again. I generally try not to yuck other people’s yum. I get that Snyder’s style is not appealing to me and that’s fine. Enjoy what you enjoy.
But damnit I am tired of hearing about this fucking thing.
Rachel Talalay says hi.
I have never been one or identified as one. I stopped using the word 30 years ago. I say it all the time, if we stopped using the word that was created to dehumanize and enslave us then they couldn’t make the argument this woman made. Then when they use it there would be no “error in judgment” or “misunderstanding”…
Can you please direct/edit a Justice League movie?
Ha! Great(?) minds!
I add the PS5 games to my library via the PS app.
It’s the teeth.
