didnt they just leave the distributor in, because it was basically seized in place?........

you watched the video? the valves seem to set pretty flat on the block, and they all open AND shut. even if there was a gasket leak somewhere, or it had a dead(burnt valve) it would still run, although run real rough. when the timing gets far enough out, you usually have all of nothing.

see if the timing marks still line up on cam and crank......

i was going to buy a square for 28 miles out. i seem to have been overly optimistic. glad it failed close to home. makes the walk home nice and short.

yeah right, you have to be able to keep it running long enough to get it to operating temp before stop leak does anything for you......

after the crank got smaller bearings on its cut shaft. it didnt have as much stroke, and the pistons didnt go up in in the bores as far, second ridge...........

i feel like we should start a betting pool, and put a dot on a map between davids house and moab, where we think the jeep is going to give it up....... not if, WHERE.........
