Certifications don’t matter that much, to be honest. Anyone can pass one in a weekend. Experience, your history of clientele, and your commitment to the client, and even the baseline knowledge that isn’t contained in a certification are so much more important.
To be clear, the point of this article wasn’t to discourage people from drinking water, it was to dispel a bunch of untruths about how much water you ‘need’. I think getting fit is hard enough without having to bend over backwards to abide by a bunch of rules that don’t actually benefit you. Read more

I think the idea stemmed from there. Some people have it right (i.e. hydrate to make sure your metabolic processes can function optimally), but I think the meaning got lost for other and they’ve actually understood water to be the cleaning agent :v
