I have PCOS for which I take a medication that is most commonly prescribed to diabetics. Medical professionals take one look at it and just go 'DIABETIC' no matter how many times I explain it to them and tell them why I am taking it.

I have flannel sheets and a down comforter but it's all-year weight - I use it in the summer. I think I'm going to have to save up for a big fluffy down comforter.

Yes! I don't have perfect pitch but I was in a choir with a girl who had it. When we sang a cappella, the director had to ask her to try and match our pitch (which would veer off-course) instead of singing the right notes to create unity. I imagine it was rough.

It's pretty hard to do here (Canada) too, especially since I can no longer digest lettuce. But I did manage to get a kids' menu at a chain restaurant and that worked out pretty well. The waiter did not bring me crayons, though. :(

I've never noticed that in her films. I don't even know what a southern cadence is when you take away the accent.

I recently found out that Patricia Clarkson is not Canadian, which made me really sad. She's been in a lot of fabulous Canadian films so I assumed she was a glorious Canuck but she is not. Stanley Tucci is another almost-Canuck. He films a lot in Toronto and is apparently a wonderful dinner host and a lovely man.

I'm trying to catch up on Lost Girl but I stopped watching early on in season 2 (it's currently in season 4). So I keep starting episodes and then going "oh, it's this one." It's getting a bit frustrating but I do want to catch up as it is a Tdot fantasy show and I love my hometown and my fantasy goodness.

I actually asked for a scale this year but to be fair, it was the FitBit WiFi Aria Scale which is something I wanted because my scale is crappy. I did get a FitBit Flex & the 3 interchangeable coloured bands which I also wanted. But I specifically asked for it. I think if someone just gave me a scale I'd lock myself…

This is the dress! It's sateen so it looks fancy but it's still breathable and machine washable which are both key. I adore it.

I was surprised it was stolen. Maybe they thought it was fancy cashmere or leather goods! But it was a dress for my friend's wedding so I was really frantic and it was a popular dress on the site. Thankfully it worked out but I had a few days of OMG WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR? A PAPER SACK? before it was sorted.
