Coming from a current (2016) Jetta GLI owner, and former owner of TWO other sports sedans (2006 Altima SER, 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP), I have to say; I love my GLI and the GTX was a great car. However, wouldn’t this title, of “original sports sedan” really go to the 3rd Gen Nissan Maxima? Tavarish said so in his

I275 in Tampa? Yes, please. Though I don’t live there, I have spent enough time in the area to know how terribly designed it is. And this is coming from someone who lives in the northeast. That road does cut through a majority of downtown area’s, dividing them up oddly, and taking up plenty of available real estate in

This. All of this.

I’m sending this to my dad who works for IMSA and IndyCar (and formerly CART) so he can get it to the right people. Caleb’s casket needs to be LAYERED in decals.

I work only a few miles from Hazlet, and a few of my co-workers, and their parents, live there. I will definitely let them know about these dirtbags, and to call the cops if they are approached by them. I agree with most commenters that it looks like a 4-door Tundra, so I’ll keep an eye out for it, and snap a pic on

Interesting to know, I’m not sure how I didn’t know this before, but thank you for the information.  Also, I can say with certainty that they are not anywhere near as strict with these guidelines as California is.  I have had plenty of vehicles with modifications that I’ve heard would not pass in California, pass

Since when does NJ follow CA emissions?  I’ve lived here my whole life and never heard of such a thing... please show me, because if I’m wrong I need to know this.

This should be played at every sporting event within the country before the game starts.  :: stands with hand over heart and hat off ::

This article needs to be re-posted on every car review website and car related forum on the entire internet.  This needs to become the standard, not the rarity within the industry.

Seeing as my dad is on his second Tacoma X-Runner, so I’ve grown to love these trucks; I fully support everything in your post. Here you are sir, have this gold star as a token of my appreciation for you enlightening me to this Ridgeling Type-R render. Although it may be but only a render, it rings true with my very

I came here for the Primus reference.... was not disappointed. Here’s your well deserved star!

Call it... pointleeeesssssss

Typical NJ where everything you do is illegal, and if you don’t do something, that’s probably illegal too. Basically the law is written so that if the office believes that you could have safely stopped in time for the light, and you ran it, then it’s a ticket for running it.

Our laws here are ridiculous, another good

I don’t personally do it, but I know a few people who do, and yes I am from NJ. However, I also know some people who do it due to a game we used to play as kids that we called “padiddle”. If you saw someone with a headlight out, the last person to say “padiddle” had to remove an article of clothing, like strip poker.

Agreed. As my best friends always says, “you can live in a car, but you can’t drive a house!”

I just sent this article to my buddy who built his 2003 Crown Vic Police Interceptor with a 4V ~4.7L Modular Ford Motor with 2.7L TVS S/C mated to a T56 6-Speed. The car is awesome and many weekends/weeknights wrenching away on it have been spent over the last few years.

As much as I would LOVE to watch Biden beat the snot out of him, which BTW my money is on our fellow gear-head Joe; I feel like the fight would go down just like Peter Griffin vs. Putin in this Family Guy episode.

This. I had a 2006 Altima SER (FWD VQ35DE) these engines are KNOWN for loosing oil pressure, which causes the tensioner (which is plastic) to prematurely wear, which allows the chain to end up with slack. Once there’s that much slack, it’s a matter of time until the chain skips a tooth and throws timing off, on an

Just as rare, I saw a Ford Explorer (latest gen) with a driver who actually knew how to drive! Obeyed traffic laws, used turn signals, let other’s merge in front of them...

Nothing bad, but when I was 18 (I look young for my age, always have), I was pulled over and asked, “Can I see your license?”. I handed it to the officer just for him to hand it back to me and say, “I didn’t think you were old enough to drive, so I wanted to verify you had a license. Thank you, have a nice day.”

White 97 Ford Escort, 4-door, automatic, barely running, lol

I would agree with this. When I had my 06 Altima SER, I wanted a different sound, as I wasn’t a fan of the typical G/Z noise. I ended up having a custom 3" Magnaflow cat-back made for me by my local tuner, and I thought it sounded great!

Here are the only sound clips I have:
