He’s actually described pretty much as he’s being shown in the trailers for this movie. He was always meant to be terrifying and horrific but people just think he’s supposed to be “friendly” looking because of Tim Curry.

Anyone see the trailer for My Friend Dahmer? Haven’t read the book but it looked crazy intense.

Haven’t seen a mega list of all the movie news from Comic Con compiled anywhere yet so I put one together this morning. If I’m missing anything let me know and I’ll add it in!

From what I’ve read she was busy with a show or something so I’m really hoping Eggsy assumes she’s dead from the initial attack and then at the end he returns to a rebuilt mansion and she’s just there having been off on her own mission.

Feel like I’m in the minority here but I really hope they don’t spend much time on Barb this season. Don’t have anything against her as a character but she served her purpose. Maybe a couple of scenes about how her family is distraught and still looking for her but no need for anything else. https://imdgflicks.wordpres

Just wrote (albeit much shorter) about this this morning. I’m so pumped we’re finally getting some resolution and are 100% past any content from the books. In case anyone else needed a recap on GoT this week before Sunday. Watched this and wrote about it this am: https://imdgflicks.wordpress.com/2017/07/10/kick-off-gam

Exactly but that’s not what it’s doing. It’s saying they have adventures together and they do. A trailer shouldn’t show scenes from IT and then when I go to see the movie it’s a Will Farrell comedy. I’d rather it show me scenes similar or at least with the same tone than ruin movies by showing too much. Hell I’d

But see that’s different. You tell me it’s the best burger in the world and I go in and it’s a damn good burger but not the best? That’s closer to my analogy. Like with this: ad tells me I’ll see Spiderman and Iron Man fight something in Queens and when I go see it from what I’ve read I’ll see them fight something

Personally? I don’t care if the trailer is all shots cut from the movie or made for marketing as long as when I see the movie the tone and story is basically the same.

I can see that. I personally think that as long as the shots created are still in the spirit and tone of the final film it’s a good way to market but it’s a fine line they have to walk.
