He’s actually described pretty much as he’s being shown in the trailers for this movie. He was always meant to be terrifying and horrific but people just think he’s supposed to be “friendly” looking because of Tim Curry.

Black Panther looks amazing. Personally? I don’t care if the trailer is all shots cut from the movie or made for marketing as long as when I see the movie the tone and story is basically the same.

I can see that. I personally think that as long as the shots created are still in the spirit and tone of the final film it’s a good way to market but it’s a fine line they have to walk.
