V6 engines aren’t in and of themselves a bad thing:

Ralph! You neglected the best part! Cars in New Zealand are not required to have insurance. meaning you can buy a car, get an inspection on it, and walk into an MOT with a US/Commonwealth drivers license, and be driving sweet JDM goodness all in the same (expensive) day!

In a turbo context(which should also work for nitrous) I’ve heard it works especially well with flex fuel capable motors as the fuel pump/injectors need to have extra overhead to compensate for lower energy density of ethanol.

E46 325/330xi touring with a manual. My brother just picked a 325xi for 2,800$ Canadian Pesos. We just slapped a set of H&R lowering springs on it. I’m blown away by the handling.

I’ve been wondering about how that will work, on a carb motor just adding nitrous doesn’t add any significant power, or so the internet says, but you would think a fuel injection motor would sense the lean condition and add more fuel, and thus power.

“As for power, it’s probably hardly worth discussing since the 3.2-liter diesel in this truck would need a completely different particulate filtration system to be legal in America.”

On the face of it I agree with you 100%

“Big rigs use air instead of liquid to control their trailer brakes because the lines are just too long to run fluid through all the way from the cab”

Not necessarily, who cares if the wheel hops a bit, as long as the steering/power/price are all together i for one wouldn’t care.

Get lost. Making any distinctions among the victims of Nazism, serves no point beyond being a twat.

I thought the bit was funny. What i really came to talk about was Did anyone else notice they pulled up in three cars manufactured in finland?

On a cheap family/commuter car I really like a drum and think they get a bad rap.

Lotus Esprit SE One of the Best Esprits. Should have plenty of change to keep it going.

This silly belt vs chain debate just won’t die.

Yeah right. they’re just saying that. I’m willing to get that 50% of 2004 era GTs have less than 30k miles on them. With all of them acumiluatlating less and less milage since their values doubled, seemingly overnight, a few years back.

This is more a lesson in physics: 4,300lbs vs 2,300 lbs

GREAT NEWS! Ford made a 1998 Volvo into yet product.

Let’s hope it get’s worse, Matt pissing off Evan’s could provide the entertainment component. With Sabine handling the car stuff.

I don’t get why people are so shocked about the prospect of jail time.

You are being ignorant of the fact that car purchases are as much an emotional purchase as a sensible one. If were going to buy a truck (never needed too, my wagons have been fine so far), I want it to feel like a truck and provide the truck experience: ride like a bus, steer like a bus, drink fuel like a bus, have a
