We had the science to stop one mass extinction event (covid-19) but we’re ignoring another one (climate change) so you’ll probably get your wish.

The Air doesn’t have Face ID, it uses Touch ID built into the button on the top.

I can’t believe they did that to the mini!  I have the 2018 model and one of the selling points was how easy it was to upgrade my ram, I do still have to use an external SSD for extra storage though.

It’s a public health crisis, not a private medical decision.

I feel you, I’ve basically settled on “when I’m walking my dog (during which I stay far away from others) I don’t wear a mask, all other times in public I wear one”.
I’m sure there are people who assume the worst about me when I’m walking my dog, but it’s one situation I feel completely safe and a half hour of

I’m a fan of my XM3s but the design was dated looking when they came out. As others have noted, you’re best off going for third party tips as the 7 that come with are all pretty poorly sized/shaped.  Luckily they stick in my ears pretty well, even when working out.

I’m guessing that’s what happened when she was tracking her husband, they probably have family sharing on their apple ids or something.

My neighbor has been flipping consoles since release, I think on average he has them for less than 3 days from when they arrive at his house.  It’s a very high turnover “business”.

I completely agree, it’s a pretty xenophobic way to look at things.
“Merica doesn’t have enough toys so why are we letting China have ‘em!?!”

That’s really annoying, thankfully my 2018 iPad Pro still works great so I won’t be upgrading any time soon.

Agreed, my wife had Roku when we started dating and I couldn’t believe how clunky it was compared to my Apple TV.

You may want to update the second paragraph to say the iPad runs iPadOS not iOS.

The case acting as a bluetooth transmitter is definitely the right next step for wireless earbuds, but you can (and I did) buy a $30 bluetooth adapter that fills the same need. You can even get one with the two 3.5 mm plugs that some planes still require.

My wife recently bought a Tesla (what can I say, I couldn’t talk her out of it) and I can confirm that the UI is HORRIBLE and if you’re using the AutoPilot as directed it is not at all relaxing to be watching the road as you normally would while also making sure the vehicle is “driving” correctly.

As a Tesla Model 3 owner the the issues I have with bluetooth alone in the vehicle make me doubt they’ll ever get to safe FSD. There are a lot of great/cool things about these cars, but the software for the UI feels behind even CarPlay to me.

Just wanted to mention that if you’re just streaming as a hobby (like myself) you can pick up a decent capture card for about $50 on Amazon.  I wouldn’t go much cheaper than that though.

Makes sense, you’re probably right

I believe they usually announce iOS updates at WWDC in the summer, so probably a few months out still.
