I prefer a lot of leftovers cold, because re-heating foods often ruins them. This is especially true of perfectly cooked meats and veggies. They end up over-cooked. No thanks!

I’m in awe of your resourcefulness.

We had very few store-bought or processed foods in the house when I was a kid, which made me long for them desperately. I had Hamburger Helper at a friend’s house one night and was in heaven. That shit was delicious.

I haven’t laughed out loud that much at a television show in forever. I’ll probably watch the whole series again. It’s brilliant.

I have friends and family who keep telling me that I should buy a house because I could get a mortgage payment that’s lower than an apartment rental around here and I keep telling them the mortgage isn’t the problem. I’ve got a lot of packing lists, as well. Plus summer vs winter versions, since the clothing needs are so different. 

My mom and I make a doctored up cheese spread that uses Merkt’s cheddar as the base and people lose their minds over it. We make it at Christmas and give it away to friends and family with crackers or whatever.

I can’t use wooden or silicone utensils for testing food because I can taste them. Am I the only one?
