243 months into the 21st Century, and some people are still calling action figures dolls!

Civil War showed that Steve could be fallible.

I do hope he sticks around as the U.S Agent character like he did in the comics, an eventually heroic but darker version of Captain America.

Once Sam decided to give up the shield, I’m not shocked the government chose to give it to a battle-tested, loyal soldier. Unfortunately, they missed the “hero” part of the equation.

She was just channeling that “White Male Rage” she likes to smugly sing about.

It’s the secret lair of the Piasa Bird.

Everybody always thinks the secret room or tunnel beneath their home was part of the Underground Railroad. It usually turns out to be something more mundane.

I can’t be the only one that was thrilled whenever Unsolved Mysteries switched from true crime to a paranormal segment. I lived for that shit.

Mutt’s sex change turned out really well!

Zemo should have handed out Turkish cigarettes instead.

I truly do appreciate complex, moral ambiguity in modern television over preachy, one-sided propaganda.

Yup, this has the makings of a PR nightmare more than anything.

Walker’s not evil. He’s a heavily flawed anti-hero.

I’m waiting for my West Coast Avengers movie.

I am hoping the show follows the comics and keep him around. Seeing the Captain America costume in black would be money.

I don’t know about this Walker guy as Captain America. But he would make a great U.S. Agent!

The old theme song was so good. A shame they replaced it with a bland dirge. I get the statement being made in the credits, but it comes across as a little pretentious for a pulpy biker gang show.

I respect what Sutter has accomplished in creating this world, but his tendency toward violence and gore for the sake of shock value was a turn-off. SoA got worse with this over time. So far, Elgin James is doing a better job of balancing quality storytelling with the violence inherent in these shows.

I miss the old theme song. I get that the new opening credits are aiming for social relevance, but it comes off as on-the-nose and pretentious for a show about a biker gang that thinks nothing of shooting everyone dead at a grandmother’s birthday party.

Finally, Lords of Flatbush: The Series!
