Something I’ve wondered about, a lot of these drift race videos show passengers in the cars during the race. Is this a normal thing? I would think for safety reasons they wouldn’t allow passengers during a race.

We’ve always used a bag of frozen corn or peas. The bag will conform to just about any shape.
I’ve always fried my shells, and we have tacos about once a week. I’ll have to try this one night.
We used to go on river floats on the Huron River, flowing through Pinckney and Dexter. We get to the end, pile about a dozen people, plus rafts, plus coolers and other paraphernalia onto a flatbed trailer and head back home.
The one above, talking about the cows?
Never mind the fact that most of the time the negotiations are there exclusively to make you feel like you accomplished something for paying over TMV.
Got married at Little Chapel by the Lake in Lake Tahoe, where they did weddings every half hour, grand total of 16 guests, $300. A dinner at a nice local restaurant for all of us, about $500 (non of us drank alcohol). Her dress was ordered from a company that she worked with at the time, $400. About the most…
No, their lighter than air, so they’d go up the tube.
Better yet, the guy that looked at a octopus and thought the same thing.
Regarding Vin, I liked him in the first two Riddick movies, but the third one felt to me that he was just too full of himself, I wasn't all that impressed with it.
A sad day indeed. I grew up three miles from Irwindale Drag Strip in the 60's and 70's. That's when it was on Irwindale Ave. Then they tore it up and put the brewery there, in 1978 I think. The brewery was supposed to find another site for the strip, but by the time I moved out of CA in 1986, I don't think it had…
My wife does this also. She's been using white vinegar and water for quite a few years now.
Kind of the same thing with Magic Windows here in Michigan. The price started at almost $20,000 for replacing twelve windows, when we hesitated, he immediately dropped the price $5,000, if we signed the contract today. Another half hour of talking and he dropped it again another $3,000. He couldn't understand how…
Thanks hmb15, I've only been to Willow Run once so I'm not that familiar with it. My thinking was that since it was a smaller airport it would probably be easier to get permission. I've often contemplated sitting somewhere in the landing path, outside the airport itself, of Detroit and making a timelapse of…
Something I've wondered about, you probably have to have permission to film a timelapse like this at an airport. I wouldn't think you could just walk into the lounge and set up a camera and snap away for a couple of hour or so. Somebody's gonna come up and stop you, or at least question what you're doing hanging…
Tasker's great, I'm currently using the free app Llama.
I always thought the player got a penalty if you threw the ball into the stands after a TD. Maybe I'm thinking of something else?
I have an earlier version of this kit from Datacolor. It has tools for calibrating the printer to color standards, and to calibrate the monitor so that it matches the printer as closely as it can. I do a lot of my own printing, so making the printer and monitor match was my main objective. I got mine used off eBay…
I would be a bit leery about doing color correction/white balance on a phone. I calibrate my monitor quarterly to help keep it in line with my printer. Is there any kind of calibration apps for phones? Can that even be done?
