As a junior in college at UC Irvine, I heard about the director’s cut from a friend. Checked the LA Times and yep, it was playing in Westwood 90 minutes. Woke a buddy up from the local dorms - another film geek - and what followed was the quickest drive ANYone ever drove from Irvine to Westwood in a Honda CRX HF.

Can’t convince ‘em, so insult ‘em instead? Good strategy.

Inexcusable doesn’t mean deal-breaker.

I considered doing that. But we get the occasional crazy rainstorm and I didn’t want to have the micro-USB port opened and exposed all the time. I realize its plugged in but was concerned about capillary action up into the camera housing.

No need to. Read the book, you’ll find out.

I adored the shit out of this book and I’m genuinely looking forward to this. Still, some of the plot points hinted at in the trailer look to be changed significantly from the book (yeah yeah, I know - that always happens) aaaand....I’m scratching my head as to why.

I’ve been getting between 27-31 minutes per charge depending on the activity.

Yeah, and then the dandelions bloom and....that shit blows into your yard.

Ugh....you mean I have to wait?

In 2012, my STi’s engine developed a knock and threw a rod. Despite me doing all the proper maintenance, having records, checking oil every 1000 miles (and having logs for doing it), the dealership and eventually Subaru denied warranty coverage, claiming the engine was oil-less when I brought it in. Which COULD be,

Goddammit, so now I’m crying in the bathroom. Thanks!

Ahh, nice to see the “Git Gud” contingent could show up and offer their 2 cents.

I agree. This game is hard. It has tested my patience more than a few times and, sad to say, actually busted my launch edition Xbone controller during an uncontrolled ragequit. The main offenders? Any level containing those flying jerks who throw daggers of detritus at you, sucking away half your health in one hit,

I’m convinced that Gearbox DOES come up with names for this stuff that doesn’t evoke the worst of 13 year olds on late-night Reddit, but discards those better, more classy titles because it wouldn’t appeal to their target demo.

At 10-15 bucks, an upgrade for me would have been a definite buy, especially as someone who paid full price for Control on Xbone and then another 25 bucks for the season pass, despite the timed exclusivity for Foundation on PS4.

I could gone for some “verticalization”, maybe a little “best of breed”, perhaps some “boil the ocean”, hopefully coming from 505's marketing “thought-leader” attempting to “explicate” their “value proposition”.

Looks interesting. Shame they just didn’t remake Dreamscape, because an update to that could be dynamite.

I’ve managed to avoid Popcap for the last few years, by choice. As silly as it sounds, I’ll never forgive ‘em (or EA) for abandoning Bookworm for iOS. But I loved that game to death so I’m fine dying on that hill.

In 2005, my wife-at-the-time and I did a rare thing - we both got new cars. Rarer still, we both bought Legacy 2.5 GTs. She got a red LGT wagon, I got a red LGT sedan.
