My thought is that the flour tortilla is far more versatile, for reasons that Kate mentioned. Breakfast burrito? Yep. Tuna salad wrap? Sure. The perfect grilled cheese for your tomato soup? Definitely. The issue is that there are many lousy store-bought flour tortillas out there (looking at you, Old El Paso and

One of my favorite SSN memories was pulling into a pitstop port in (sunny location on the East Coast). We’d be transiting while surrounded by Tuesday-afternoon silly-money-yacht folks, many of whom were hosting some young ladies who weren’t shy. Yacht guys wished they were us. We wished we were them.

That’s exactly the part that I don’t understand. I’m a wagon guy (V60 R-Design... and I hate that I to have to note that it’s the 3.0 I6) and just can’t figure out why “make it trucky” is a sales smash and the exact same package in a better-handling platform is ignored as “wagon” or even worse... “hatchback.”

I get the joke, but the irony is that Hunt’s incident did indeed occur in Cleveland. Even more ironic that it happened in the same building that Manziel and Gordon used as their party pad before they were too tired to show up on time for away-game travel.  All we’re missing is the Kellen Winslow II motorcycle safety

We must reject revenge... hell, is this an Eric Cartman speech?

Informal survey: What’s the correct pronunciation? When I was growing up in NE Pennsylvania (late 70s), we pronounced it “Huh-Dakk-uh,” but i’ve heard others pronounce it as “”Hodd-uh-kuh.”  So, how do you pronounce it?

In Raleigh, no less (no affiliation with dealer, just a quick AutoTrader search)... 2008 Volvo V70, 80K miles, $8000.

Truth.

Here in NE Ohio, I see 38 Chargers for every Cadillac, so it makes sense that the “Standard of the World” would try to chase marketshare downward to compete in the “No Credit, no Problem!!” set.  Squint, and one might even see Mitsubishi in the headlight/ grill treatment.

Finally, it kinda came out of nowhere and was a fun surprise, unlike this car which is just a sequel.

A number of Italian groceries here in Cleveland sell GM-style pizza. Great for a quick snack... I like it at room temp. IMO, the sauce is the key... a slightly tangy/ spicy sauce works better than the sweet/ ketchup style that is so common in the midwest.

Yeah, differences may be lost to “regionalism.” Hoagie, sub, grinder, etc. Just for reference, I grew up in NE Pennsylvania and worked in pizzeria owned by 2nd generation Brooklyn Italians. Their Dad, who came to the states in the 1940s, came in early to prep all doughs and sauces. This “Sicilian” pie was baked as

No, different deal.  Sheet pizza is sometimes called “Grandma pizza” and is mostly regular pizza dough stretched into the rectangle (similar to one of the photos in the original article).  Sicilian uses the same dough, but rises apprximately 3X as long, then is baked as a crust shell, with just a touch of sauce to

Not long ago, I actually bought a box of Ellio’s to try to capture the nostalgia.  I should have left that bit of nostalgia in the “Steak Umms” file.  It wasn’t so great.

If only the roofline flowed.  Everything else reminds me of the early-70s Z-cars.  Nissan, here’s your chance to respond.

Still hate it, just not vocal with my complaints.

I’m pretty sure that the OP had it right
