I played The Realm, a Sierra game, and MMORPG, before UO came out. It was a fun game, pvp had real consequences, and the internet was young. 

For someone looking to play the persona games from square one should I pick this up or is there another current gen option that is better?

I just wanted to chime in and say both Foundation and Ghormenghast have the potential to be decade defining shows. I can’t see Peake’s work actually working in any medium other than animation though.
