Right...because all those automakers who showed up in Detroit a century ago did so completely autonomously.

Bothers me? Not in the least. At most, it warrants an eye roll....
That’s a forecast for something that’s still 2 years away and for which actual manufacturing costs have yet to be realized.
How many stations are at these grocery stores 2? 3?
And how many actually want one as opposed to just the social media cred they perceive to have earned by making their pre-order and posting online daily about how they can’t wait for their new Tesla
Or, put another way...approximately 200 people a day are canceling their Model3 pre-orders.
Well your conflating two types of classification; EPA regs based on size (what defines “full sized”) and “Luxury” which is subjective and for which there is no regulatory body making such a determination.
Yeah, but Stephen fucking Hawking still hasn’t figured out how to use iDrive either.....
I thought they said it also jammed GPS? Unless Amazon is using gyros and accelerometers for INS on their craft those commercial drones will be just as vulnerable.
Didn’t hear anywhere in that segment where the drones lose control and crash in to things....pretty sure they said they’ll either land safely, hover in pace or return to their launch location. But you already knew that because you obviously read the article and watched the video so....
How long have you had your drone?
Ok, you lost some Jalop credibility with that comment....it’s mostly/entirely the ignorant that still believe oil needs to be changed every 3,000 miles or 6 months. If you’re running full synthetic 10k miles between changes is absolutely appropriate.
My experience is somewhere in the middle....most people have only very basic knowledge of their car. Most could, if the situation arose, change a tire although they might dent the rocker panel doing it. Most could also check the oil if asked and could change a bulb on something built in the 90's that didn’t require…
Really? Are you serious? Almost the entire ad is devoted to describing how ridiculous and dangerous the thing is. Personal responsibility has to kick in at some point.
When exactly are these supposed to be available in the NA market? I swear we saw the debut almost a year ago and actual deliveries are still nowhere in sight?? Even euro markets are fuzzy on dates with little more than “late 2016" so far. I’m guessing that means mid-2017 or later for the NA market?
Because cop cars often need to be in service for more than 18hrs a day, or in some cases continually. The time required to recharge a Telsa (even at a supercharger station) make it impreactical.
I think he was speaking more of the current western culture of instant outrage and mental suffering claimed by those hearing a ‘trigger’ word or having their drive through order screwed up.
TBH, I also haven’t watched either in years but as a firm centrist I find a fairly comparable level of bullshit emanates from both sides of the spectrum. No one ideology has a monopoly are raving lunatics.
That sword cuts both ways....
Except they’re not outselling all those brands. Maybe Audi because their A6 sales have always been lackluster but they don’t come close to E series or 5 series numbers.
