I don't typically stand up for anything coming out of her mouth but I read that the same way. I can't use weed and function at all so for me to be a productive member of society, I have to not. However, because I really like drugs, I'll forever be jealous of those who can smoke and still be a functional person.
That remark doesn’t read as a judgment on anyone but herself. If she wasn’t able to smoke weed and be a useful member of society and passionate about things, it’s good she quit. Doesn’t mean others can’t do what she couldn’t.

I did EXACTLY the same thing in college for a photography assignment on sex, 1997. It was lazy on my part and got graded accordingly. This has been done endlessly and is very unoriginal on everyone’s part.
I’ve seen A LOT of fruit-sex analogy in art, dating back well before this artist’s oeuvre. Many of them were art students or otherwise fairly unacknowledged local artists, etc, indicating to me that the idea itself definitely isn’t unique enough to any one artist to claim this as appropriative.

No one in Europe tips. Their servers/bartenders are considered professionals and paid a decent salary. I have a friend that bartends in Milton Keynes and he makes 18 GBP/hr, about $23/hr.
I despise the entire system of tipping and would love for it to end. As it stands now, tipping is nothing more than rich people exploiting their lower and middle class customers to help directly pay their lower and middle class employees, all so that they can pocket and hoard even more of the wealth they aren’t…
