Agreed. I spent a good number of years in fear of being the victim of a murder/suicide at the hands of my boyfriend. He went the suicide route instead.

That after the first two Nobel awards this year, in usually overwhelmingly historically male-dominated fields, the women lead the men, I see it as at least a small sign of hope that things are trending positively. This has made 2020 look a little less bleak to me.

There seems to be something here about not having the intelligence to realise how little you know. A moderately intelligent person realises how hard something is and how they may not be able to get away with murder.

I think the strangest of it all was how he was completely going through the motions in his texts. Even before the murders were planned, he never replied angry or frustrated. It freaked me out. The way he talked about women were my red flags, but I wouldn’t have known it would have ever turned into a murder.
