Tesla’s “leap before you look” approach is what will ultimately put them behind. They had the money, talent, and early start to maintain the lead, but again and again, Elmo destroys everything he touches.

Kudos to that cop who followed procedure and basically busted his boss. I’m sure he’ll get skewered by other, shittier cops for it.

Yup that’s it, and would ask 100K$ more than the standard car, to sell you a stripped out model with a pull string for door handles.

If we ever had something like this in the US, the MAGATs would claim that it’s too woke, the Karens would complain because they couldn’t drive their CR-Vs through it and within six months the tunnel would be filled end-to-end with homeless people and guys selling knock-off Rolexes.

I thought all you needed to do was put I KNOW WHAT I HAVE! in all caps?

There’s a good portion of the country that isn’t energy poor and there are no peak/off peak hours for electricity. It’s just a flat rate based on total usage tiers.

It’s honestly kind of surprising that Russia would risk destroying a plane, and potentially losing a pilot just for a drone over international waters.

I rarely side with automakers or dealers, but damn these owners suck and just need to deal with it. This is literally how every consumer product works. Unless there was a contract or documentation stating these would never be made again... too fucking bad? This is what you get for overpaying for stupid vehicles.

The fact that you call them “pigs” immediately drops your credibility. Fan of law enforcement or not, you can’t honestly believe that every (or even most) LEOs want to shoot and kill citizens.

That’s just asinine.

That is such a silly take. When offers like these are made, the employer isn’t looking to “make” anybody do anything.

This reminds me of the team of thieves who meticulously plan a $million jewelry heist and get away scot free, only to be caught the next day trying to sell diamond rings to strangers on the street.

Such a professional job without a plan of what to do with the cars afterwards

Yup. If they want people to think charging is as easy as getting gas, then make it like getting gas. All these companies are tripping over themselves to make charging the most modern!/hipster!/futuristic! thing you can do when they should be making it as dumb and easy as possible.

I get the convenience factor of using a phone-based wallet app, but man, way too many variables for me to every fully commit.

Some of the early L2 chargepoint stations here in KC used to have that. Not sure why every company thinks you need to have an app to use their service. I mean, I do, they want to sell your data and make some money on the backend. But goddamn, just let me pay and charge without having to download your app that I will

Yeah... I fucking hate charging my EV when not at my home... Aside from Electrify America (most of their stations are along interstates or in cities) and tesla superchargers (same thing) that’s worked reliably, there’s like 10+ different charging apps that’s mostly not interoperable and requires NFC shit to work....

Makes sense to me. Most adults I know have been in 1 or zero accidents in their lifetime.

Hitting-and-running from a vehicular homicide is not “letting traffic violations go”, but you probably get that trollup.

We live in one of the few North American cities with an extensive and well supported bike culture. So I’ve been bike commuting and feel really quite safe doing it. Most of the drivers know how to drive around cyclists (even if some of them gripe on social media), and with the number of protected bike lanes and

I know you have to do what’s right for you but it bums me out each time I see this. It means that means there are fewer riders on the roads and drivers will just be less used to seeing us and they will be more entitled to the road that they, and they alone, own.
