I take a lot of your points here, but Brody is not scrawny here; he’s literally jacked to the tits.
He’s not Arnold, but no one is.

Hey, I like Iron Man 2. Sam Rockwell. Mickey Rourke asking for his boird. Introducing Black Widow and bringing Don Cheadle to the party.   There’s a lot to like there.

Herb Tarlek was a great character and he was perfect in the role. He was primarily a sleazy salesman clown, sure, but every now and then the story would call for Tarlek to be self-aware or even wallow in pathos and Bonner would bring it... He was a much better actor than you might expect.

This sucks. And hurts. My father loved Clapton. Worshiped at his alter of guitar playing to the point of handcrafting his own amp to duplicate the amp Clapton used on the legendary John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers album. Owned multiple Strats, of course. Could play pretty much any Clapton solo note for note.

I’m going to dissect this bullshit one bit at a time:

I mean, Mark Millar is a huge fraud as a creator so I would not be surprised if none of the Netflix projects based on his work justify their cost. Seriously, look at this asshole’s career. The Ultimates hasn’t aged well and its influence on Marvel movies is arguably more from Bryan Hitch’s art than from Millar’s

Hot take: Jupiter’s Legacy was okay.

Although that was all true when he released an album a mere 14 months ago.

I really don’t get what the Meyer estate is doing. For a long time they only wanted to let you buy super-expensive DVDs of his films and I did not agree with but understood that, but AFAIK they haven’t released any blu-rays, digital downloadable/rentable versions, or put them on any streaming service, and I don’t know

You can shit on the man, but don’t say such an ignorant affirmation. Citacion: the bloody IMDB.

I actually liked the 2002 reboot, which I’m sure everyone’s forgotten about by now.

Samhain was also worth checking out.

You should. He has one of the best voices of any male vocalist of his era. His work with the Misfits is fun and dumb and rocks. His eponymous blues-metal band put out at least 4 albums of amazing (admittedly hilariously archly faux-satanic) music. He’s a very talented musician.

God I can’t believe I’m going to defend Glenn, but the comments aren’t that bad in the context of the whole article. It’s more the interviewer prodding him as to his offensive lyrics, than GD going off the rails on some fox news 8twitter rant.

I dunno, I think hsi big takeaway from his Peter Pan obsession was he wished he were a lost boy for the homoerotic element (he’d brag about sneaking into Wendy’s room but actually only to get the other lost boys horny). He had issues about his sexuality but did more or less come out finally near the end (though I’m

Dead Ringer For Love is one of my absolute favourite songs, and his work with The Sister of Mercy was frequently great, too. Sad news.

“See you all at Oki-D0gs.” — Fat Mike

I absolutely fucking love this film. Not as a flawed, ambitious folly, not as a key part of Hollywood history, not as a monolith to pride and ego, but purely on its own merits. It’s bloody great.

Jesse, to give a fuller picture of Landis, I’d also mention that two kids died in that accident, kids who were being paid off the books to circumvent child labor laws, kids who shouldn’t have ever been working at night OR in that dangerous environment. This article isn’t about the accident, which I get, and I’m sure
