Carriage, groceries. Those are nice, woody words.

Replacing the stock, “lifetime” air filter on my Focus with a cone air intake. A cheap, fairly easy mod I completed in less than a 1/2 hour. Now, instead of trying to suck air through layers of foam sponge, it breathes much easier and idles 200 - 300 RPM lower. My fuel economy is also up a couple of MPG’s as well,

Is that “Sending It”? Because that looks like they are Sending It really hard.

I grew up with a Dodge Ram Wagon as a family hauler. We took it camping, road trips to Florida, Canada and Michigan. I’d love to buy one, drop in a current Hemi 392 Scat Pack V-8 (no need for a Hell Cat engine, as I’m not suicidal), a six speed manual, and lower it for somewhat better handling. Give it a nice dual

I say Jalopnik strikes out on its own. Just sell a bunch these, and they’re all set.

I love period dramas/comedies.

My dad and yours sound similar, but my dad was just cheaper. 1986 Dodge Ram Wagon, short wheel base, slant six and four on the floor. No A/C, and seating for five. Too bad we had six people in the family (Mom, Dad and four kids). My younger brother just had to make do with riding on a wood box with a foam mattress on

E D O! Gooooo Rockets!

Hey now, as a University of Toledo alum, I can fully support that remark.

This was forty four years ago. Forty four. How far back does something have to be before we, as Democrats, stop with the circular firing squad? Has the man committed any other acts of violence since? Is one bad act, before most of the people who comment on this forum were even born, enough to sink a persons career

I’d rather have it the opposite way, where manual seats are an option in cars. I’m 6'4", and my wife is 5'6". Every time I get into her car, I have to stand outside and wait, and wait, and wait for the power seat to slide back. In my car, all I have to do is pull up a handle and zip the seat back. I think there was an

I too would like a fast car.

“but much less than if I just unscrew it after draining the oil out of the pan.” I think I found your problem...

My Focus will spill oil out of the filter every, damn, time. I’ve been punching a hole in the bottom of the filter with an old ice pick, let the oil drain out. Then I punch a hole at the top of the filter, let more oil drain out. Unscrew the filter, and have more oil spill out, but much less than if I just unscrew it

Anyone thinking what I’m thinking?

Dude, look at my user name. See what it says? Powered by Focus. A 12 year old, 172,000 mile Ford Focus, that I’ve held together with minimal funds for several years. I like small cars, even though I’m 6’4” and 230lbs. The largest car I’ve ever owned was a ‘96 Mazda 626 (swivel vents rule!). I can’t see myself in

The $125 is a ticket, I’m just using “tax” as a pejorative for the additional funds the city extracts from drivers by using mobile speed cameras.

Toledo has both permanent and mobile cameras.

Toledo P.D. have mobile speed cameras, so they just take a laser measure of your speed, snap a photo and mail you a ticket, all at the same time. I received a request for additional city funding a few months ago, for doing 62 in a 50 mph section of highway. $125 additional tax for driving on the road. Thanks, TPD!
