Honestly, the whole “they don’t recognize the social commentary” aspect of it has been beaten to death at this point. It’s tasteless, but whatever.

Ok, but nothing on this page is about him being racist. It’s about him having his characters use racist/sexist/homophobic slurs and tropes to shock people, because the guy is an edgelord who love to make his stories as unpleasant as possible.

Sounds pretty on brand for Apple honestly.

A company has a chance to look real honorable, big, and ethical in a situation like this where a famed commentator they host might balk the company line.

Honestly this ruling is dumb , and whoever came up with it and tries to enforce it is also dumb.

Sounds like you need to join me in watching the much harder and far nerdier quiz shows Only Connect and University Challenge. Much harder questions, no cash prizes.

In conversation with Guillermo del Toro at the DGA Latino Summit 2023, Fede Alvarez stated Ridley Scott has seen a cut of Alien: Romulus and described it as “fucking great.”

Let’s go with occams razor that FF7 is almost 26 years old and not everyone obsessively replays or mentally catalogues every single detail about it.

It’s an inert blob of material. Relating that to a human with reproductive issues is some real mental gymnastics.

He didn't mean individuals... He meant as a species... Seriously forget yourself and your ego for one second to understand generalized concepts

The actual paper they released says nowhere that the prompt was “make something that can walk.” In fact I cant find any record of what the prompt actually was, but their interface isnt the same as ChatGPT, you cant just type in “do this thing” and it suddenly does it. In fact by the wording of the actual paper, they

“I think when some people look at this robot they see a useless gadget,“ Kriegman said. “I see the birth of a brand new organism.”
