Yes, you can enable that option. There are a few quirks regarding edits made in Google Photos not being reflected in Drive, and vice versa, but for deleting unwanted photos it should be fine - more info: http://www.androidcentral.com/how-use-google…

Just remember, with this method there is a limit to the time you can safely leave a candle: ~30 minutes. The solid top traps heat, melts, burns, and does all sorts of bad things on your porch.
