You can throw MEW, JSB, Margot, Meryl Streep, Julie Andrews, Kate Hepburn, Richard Burton, and the ghosts of all the Barrymores into a film and it still won’t be any good if the script is shit. This is a good start... but nothing more than that until we start hearing from people who’ve actually seen Hodson’s script…

Barbara might be the film’s big reveal, and they’re trying to keep it as under wraps as possible....

This is.... so brilliantly, brilliantly awful.

And also - to be persnickity - that’s not precisely how “real” (= chemical) rockets work. In those rockets, the gas IS the reaction mass. Combustion, or a chemical reaction between two fuels, provides energy to eject the combustion gasses in the opposite direction, and Newton’s 3rd takes over.

I thought Brad Pitt was excellent in “The Beaning of Ronald Acuña By The Coward Jose Ureña”. 

And Ramona isn’t a MPDG.

Um... he most certainly does get Ramona in the books. Ramona is based on Bryan’s (now ex-) wife, and many of the smaller details are autobiographical.

That is brilliant.

I’d also recommend the Pet Avengers book.  Relatively short, highly entertaining for everyone, has plenty of Lockjaw....
