Who cares if it is "childish" or not? And how do you define childish? So what if I'm 25 and still likes to read about Hulk fighting a T-Rex on the moon? If it makes me laugh, makes me happy, and takes out the stress from a crappy day so I don't stay wind up and let that stress out in a more harmful way, what is wrong

Moore's just another idiot who thinks medium defines content. Animated, live action, CGI, comic, audio, novel, these are just how the story is told, they do nothing to make the story less or more mature, that's entirely in the hands of the person creating it.

I don't know that your comparison of Morrison and Millar is quite fair; yes, taken out of context both of the things you cite sound like balls-to-the-walls bonkers stuff. But Morrison, for all his kookiness, has usually (not always) been committed to the kind of deconstructionist storytelling that Moore apparently

Yes he is. There is nothing alarming about grown men doing what they enjoy, and its despicable for someone to say that who means so much to comic fandom. I expect this sort of behavior from Frank Miller, but Moore?

They named Hurt "The War Doctor" specifically to avoid unnecessary renumbering. which leaves the fandom with 3 options going forward. We have the option of renumbering 9, 10, and 11 (probably not going to happen). We have the option of recognizing that Capaldi is 13 and name him such while leaving 9, 10, and 11 as

You had me at ...

What no mention of the Malks in Dresden?

But it doesn't feel earned here. There are a lot of things they could have done with the new timeline, and jumping straight to the corrupt elements in Starfleet (and describing them as a "cancer") without taking the time to build up what Starfleet stands for in this timeline feels like a shortcut.

But then we decided Khan was absolutley necessary so that we could call back to one of the most heartbreaking moments in science fiction history, drain it of all its emotional richness, and turn it into a streaming pile of derivative shit in hopes that fans would gulp it down and not notice that they were eating a

"It wasn't until after they tried to come up with non-Khan stories that they developed the idea of a man who had been manipulated by Starfleet and ended up becoming a terrorist. That man, they ultimately decided, was Khan". Translation-After we struggled to come up with a original idea time was running out before we

Years ago I remember reading an issue of Classic X-Men, which had a backup story written by Ann Nocenti and I believe drawn by John Bolton involving The White Queen explaining to another woman with the Hellfire Club why she dressed the way she does.

Don't forget Ray Wise being awesomely Ray Wise.

More trailers should have the theme from Terminator.

That trailer kicks ass.

Now playing

Wow...just...wow... All that gritty realism that the original had? Out the window.

It's just a trailer so I'll try not to judge too much...

Also, so sick and tired of pretty boy male model movie stars. Peter Weller looked like a guy who actually worked for a living; this guy looks like he's getting blown up on his way to a manscaping session.

This is shooting for PG-13, isn't it? Fuck this movie.

GET IT AWAY! GET IT AWAY!

@CassandraSays: If only Henry Rollins could beat the crap out of every hipster, then we'd be living in a better world.
