Ahh, I do this already, thought I was being a bit strange that I'd note down people's children's names, favourite colours and what they like in my google contacts.

Wow, I had no idea that the UK Netflix was missing out on so much. Hope they add a lot more to their catalogue.

Varidesk pro $300 ..... UK Varidesk pro £295. Uhh hate it when that happens. $1 does not equal £1 and makes it a huge difference in price.

Depends on juristiction. It's not the case here in UK where we have our own very draconian copyright laws. Far worse than DMCA.

Remembering the passwords is one hassle password managers address sure, but the other is typing them! It's like with advantages of text expanders, why waste time and energy on something repetitive and unproductive.

If you're redownloading your entire collection then you've not got a good backup system. Besides it'd take longer to get to a store or order online a replacement disc (not to mention playing twice for it!!!!) than downloading it (HD movie about 10-20 minutes?). I've never had a single problem since dumping my discs,

Not sure how that's an argument against anything. What if your BR drive breaks? What if your TV stops working, what if someone burgled your discs?

This is my thought too, had an account on Trello for years but I see it mentioned more and more. Now I'm starting to use it more, and so far it's the easiest I've found for Kanban, the other one that I get a lot of recommendations for is PivotalTracker.

Have you tried Trello? I'm thinking of using it more as maybe a project manager and then something else as my to do list like Wunderlist. I like wunderlist and Asana but I feel like I need them in combination with something slightly higher level for planning. Like Wunderkit used to be I guess.

Must resist........

All depends on what you do, it would literally be impossible for me to do my main work on anything smaller than 15" retina. Anything graphical... but if majority of what you do is just writing I think it's reasonable to me to get away with that size.

I have these and would NOT recommend them as the drivers don't seem to work at all. It took almost a year to get them working properly in Windows 8 then with 8.1 I'm stuck with Windows native drivers, so no 7.1 surround at all.

I download occasionally and keep in Evernote and I have money centre linked to them too. But my personal statements are relatively unimportant compared to my company statements and I used accounts software to pull those in plus my accountant keeps access to those too. In either case I don't think the "actual

Yes, but becoming rarer. Not because shredding is less important but because I've continuously reduced the amount of paperwork I receive. Occasional letter from the bank or tax office is about it. All my statements are digital, all my accounts are online, including my company accounts and dealing with my accountants.

I like the idea of the Word notebooks but I think better to find something locally produced, they cost more than twice as much here in the UK. Hey, maybe can make them or get some made up myself. Will have to check the costs of that.

Here's the opposite in law, copying is always forbidden unless explicitly allowed. But not only is it not practical to pursue "lawbreakers" but the authorative bodies involved have even stated they won't pursue certain things (like the MP3 ripping I mentioned) and want the laws updated. Strangely (as long as there's

Depends on your juristiction. Here in the UK that's not the case. Format shifting is not technically allowed in copyright law here. E.g. ripping CDs to MP3 is still technically illegal here.

Your alternative to LogMeIn is LogMeIn? :D

I was excited about the Razer coupon until I actually got to the store. Absolutely nothing I could find (that I'd want) in stock/available to order. Since the coupon expires soon, turns into a pointless exercise.
