Also because of real estate pricing, most people cannot afford to live in larger apts, let alone houses, so having the space to justify a large TV and console is becoming less. People are living in fucking internet/gaming cafes for christ sake over there

Its mainly because Japanese are living in smaller confined living spacings and as such, having a room for a console and a TV to play it on is becoming a luxury item and Japanese are frequently on long distance commuter trains in which a 3DS system is perfect. How the Switch will do is very much yet to be seen

Yep, I’m a new and very late joiner to the Fire Emblem series when I got my first 3DS last month, the 3D effect on Awakening is freaking amazing and im a higher end PC gamer

And because the 3D camera tracking system works MUCH better and a lot of games load faster if nothing, plenty reason enough
