I love reading about shit like this, but so grateful this kind of drama isn’t a part of my life anymore. The long emails, spreadsheets, endless guild meetings, sleepless nights, emergency phone calls, anger over raid failures and ego conflicts, in-fighting and jealousy... ugh.

I dunno man, I’ve been playing the Witcher for as long as I can remember seeing these posts too. Gives me some hope that I’m not the only one out there still chugging away at it.

Right, this is the thing. It was a time and place, where your life was at, who you were playing with, etc. that made it so magical. You can never completely re-capture that part of your life.

It’s combat system was absolute trash. Changing it is the best thing Level5 could’ve ever done to the series.

I agree. Nothing is wrong with pixel art, but this “pixel art with some hd particle effects thrown in” thing is pretty underwhelming. I’d rather see something that uses pixel art in a more cohesive way. Maybe it works nicer in action, but it just looked distracting to me in the video.
