Not exactly. While certainly not a lot. There are games that can be played on a New 3DS that can’t be played on a classic 3ds.

They could take a page from SE’s playbook when people were abusing an exploit in FF11. Which was to pretty much ban hundreds and hundreds of people, which caused massive chaos and many tears, much outrage while the JPN players proceeded to ‘wwwwww’ and carried on proudly.

There is no P2W there. That gear has no better perks/stats than other gear. So it’s just cosmetic if you want the new gear. Plus since you have to infuse it, you need to play hard enough to get high level infusion fuel.

Gotta switch it up sometimes or else it feels more repetitive than the Prison of Elders.
