So, I’ve been doing some reading about the car after I saw this article. The only change Elvis made to the car was to paint it red. The Chevy V8 was added by a DJ who was the 3rd owner of the car. While Elvis owned it, it had the 3.2L V8 that it came with.

It’s more like taking a Jackson Pollock that Elvis had painted over, and returning it to being a Jackson Pollock.
