Nah, as someone who likes what the game is there’s still a lot missing if you were buying into all the marketing hype, so they would have been hating from a slightly higher elevation. It would need at least another year to ‘complete’ (and they seem to be working on that).
It was my solace in the early days of the game, a place to share screenshots and anecdotes in peace. And to see fun pictures of players’ bongs and blunts on top of the game box :D
I could definitely see that; the Gamer Outrage Machine does have a relatively short attention span, particularly when it comes to topics that no longer garner the attention (and attendant circle-jerk accolades) that they once did.
The haters got bored and moved on, while those of us who just liked flying around and chilling out and taking photos still enjoy that.

I do like a couple of the new maps, Eden and Dry Dock mostly, but I am very excited for Angel City, and I’m also hoping that they either bring back more old maps or just follow those philosophies.
Honestly I never thought TF1's Titan models were terribly balanced. I always found the Ogre too slow and the Stryder too brittle to use, so I stuck with the Atlas. I never got a rock-paper-scissors vibe from it.
