when I was a kid, I was quite precocious.

i'd love to click to enlarge, but the picture is missing!

You understand the vast difference between touching someone and talking about someone, right?

Your opinion is important to me. Please: stay on the line. Someone who cares will be with you shortly. Oh wait.

I don't think it's saying that.

it is important. more often than not, I see men behaving badly in super-heavily male dominated environments (like < 10% female).

as a male programmer, I find it way better to not work in a 100% male environment because it cuts down on brogramming, one-upping, machismo, etc—all things I've seen rapidly vanish if there are women around.

thank you. =)

Sadly, that is true.

True: there is a right to anonymity, and the government can't work to unmask your anonymity without going through due process.

You might be disheartened, but not everyone should be. Why impose a standard?

When you wonder why companies produce inferior, difficult-to-use products, blame all of the dipshits in this thread defending Nintendo. Despite it being 2013, they don't think tech should be easy to use, even tech that is used solely for entertainment.

The moral of the story is: Nintendo build a commerce system that would have been stupidly weak in 2002 in 2013.

That's fine that you're okay spending your money on an inferior system, but most people aren't.

ah, demonstrating bullying right within the article. brilliant!

have a cookie!

Worst problem of them: a room full of boys circle-jerking each other about how awesome they are, but secretly unable to admit their own mistakes or call each other out. This problem is fatal to a company.

You've never watched the ways the old-boys-network can fail? You've never seen how men can be a bit overconfident or a bit more aggressive when there are only men in the room? I've seen this happen over and over, and I solve the problem by making sure my teams are diverse.

When the head of HR at EA (essentially) says 'sexism doesn't exist,' that's a good way to discourage women from working there; it's also a good way to discourage employees from reporting sexual harassment. Good job!

This is one of the most practical things I've read on the Internet.
