Yup, just bought the $2.99 version myself. Would never dream of paying for or downloading Candy Crush.

Hopefully a major gaming blog or two will have at least one more article about it on it's final day. Do I need to elbow you here, or are we good?

That's what I came to say. Bumping.

I got more bummed with every single paragraph; it's like i'm getting dumped by Breath of Fire.

Whoah, did the Last of Us have multiplayer all along, or was it something they added? I completed the game and loved it, but legitimately did not know it had any multiplayer. My life is spinning out of control.

Interesting, thanks for the info.

Can you explain this a little more for me? I just tried to google it, and (after only one search hit) didn't quite catch it—dattebayo doesn't mean anything? So why does it say it? and he combined it with other verbs?

So they are giving me the parts of Mass Effect I have missed so much since it devolution. Fantastic.

The combat is definitely more like WoW's than not. In fact, it's basically WoW with three big draws: great, FF art direction; tons of FF fan service; and a really compelling, well written campaign that feels like a single player game that occasionally makes you co-op with people.

I definitely read somewhere in a developer diary that inventory sorting is a part of this patch; thank the gods. I can't source this right now though.

I've been told by someone in-game that it will be in patch 2.2, which will be a much smaller, hopefully faster patch. I can't source this right now though.

Darn, I can't tell you how much of this guy's work I've had as my wallpaper over the years. Here's to hoping he goes to collaborate with Matsuno (whatever he's up to) or on something major, and/or at least this isn't his sendoff before he dies in the obscurity of the mobile gaming void.

God damn this is funny. I wish I had more to add than that, but sadly, I am but a man.

I'm just genuinely trying to get to the heart of your argument. You said you didn't like "8bit" , but this is very far from it—the game is beautiful. Maybe you don't like the minimalistic character design? Or you do you dislike the art styles of stuff like Bastion as well?

Do you just not like cartoons or 2d animation at all or what? The style is very clean and pulled off very well—that backdrop is gorgeous, and this is very far from 8-bit, which had MUCH stricter and more rigid limitations. Even Shovel Knight, an upcoming indie that is a self proclaimed "love letter to 8bit" is still

I hope that you guys do a follow up article once the kickstarter is up! The odds of me remembering this is about equal to this getting funded without kickstarter.
