It was shocking to see Cap and Iron Man fighting in Civil War, because by that point they’d been friends and teammates in both Avengers movies. In BvS, Superman and Batman don’t even know each other, so there’s zero dramatic tension in their conflict. It plays like Godzilla vs. Mothra.
