Musk(rat) is a piece of garbage and has been since he was a kid. This isn’t new. It also hasn’t stopped his sycophant toadies from loving him. Hell it may make them love him more. They want to be him. He should be removed from his position in all of ‘his’ companies by board members or shareholders out of duty to the

The ultimate solution would be to switch back to multi-use, easily recyclable, or compostable food and shipping containers. Combine that with local sourcing where possible and hub and spoke distribution to co-inside when not. Kinda like what existed 60 years ago. Milk delivery in glass bottles with pick up and re-use

Ok, so let me get this straight: He’s posting the videos of a group of masked people engaging in illegal activities, on Instagram (and potentially other platforms)?

That is some impressive distance. Evil would be proud.

I love the concept of 15 min towns and cities. Just like many things though, the implementation is fraught with ways to fuck it all up, especially when trying to rehabilitate existing areas.

WFH should make this kind of things more feasible.

I have been lucky enough to have lived in multiple parts of the US. I’ve lived in big cities where a car was more of a hassle than not, and I’ve lived in rural communities where not having a car is simply not feasible. I’ve also lived in small cities which combined neighborhoods with local watering holes, and

That’s an unnecessarily dickish response.

The majestic Vancouver Harbor Beaver, preys upon unsuspecting pleasure craft. Here you can see it capture the roof from one such encounter before diving back to the water for its meal.”

Ah yes, trolling. I gave you the benefit of the doubt. My mistake.

I’m not quite sure of your question/point, but I’m guessing you’re referencing the cost of charging an EV and home? In any case, the cost of at home charging where I live (unless you have solar on your roof) is more expensive per kwh than charging at a supercharger or other charging station down the road. Even

And its not like you can tell the difference from the outside.

100% agree! The whole return to work thing is horrible for a number of reasons. Imagine letting people relocate to rural areas and bringing the capital with them to revitalize those areas, while also reducing emissions, and the strain on the housing market.

Agreed, this seems like a reactionary hot-take just to be edgy. I have a fair number of friends rocking plug in hybrids and full EVs, and the consensus is the cost per mile is much lower on the plug in’s than the full EVs. Additionally, the amount of time they’re running on plug in power for the PHEVs is quite high.

^this. I saw ‘averaging 65' and my jaw dropped. That’s a lot of mass to be moving in those conditions at those speeds. It’s incredible.

That sounds awesome!

CEO’s wind up being the money facing figure. CTO/CPO’s wind up as the internal stop gap between product/dev/IT/and sometimes tech services, and the CRO. HR can fuck right off with their political bullshit. Presidents wear no clothes and are the speaking circuit figures who should only ride in Boeings. COO’s are often

I have worked for a number of tech companies, and only in one did the CEO have an actual understanding of what was going on. He was a product guy though and wanted to stay apprised of what was going on, as we were making rather big changes. Having said that, the President was a sociopath sales guy who had no idea what

I have a hard time not rolling down my window and yelling “Nazi sympathizers” at every supercharger I drive past.

If he’s making money off of illegal activities, this seems ripe for civil asset seizure. The city should be able to subpoena his income statements from the various platforms he’s posting on.   Then, if the figures don’t add up to the $750k, throw a forensic accountant on his ass and find the real source.

There is definitely a reason why carrier fleets still exist!
