Yeah, like the guys in the $100 million blockbuster are gonna include references to some old sitcom. Come on!

He bought Tobias for a fair price, though he thought about it extensively. For a while he was just “buy curious”.

Yup, how ‘the doc’ phrased it is the biggest sign that they’ll be juuuust fine

There are Star Wars fans who will never accept anything but sequels based on the boring-ass Zahn novels from the ‘90s. Because Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford can be digitally de-aged, and Fisher can be replaced by a CGI double!

Is anyone really invested in the S.Witch/Vision relationship?

Yeah, there’s a deleted scene where all the women admit that they are wrong about everything and then a guy who looks exactly like you walks onscreen and says “I’m Luke’s secret cousin and I’m the protaganist from now on!” Then he destroys the entire First Order all by himself while everyone who made fun of you in

Hands down the best Star Wars movie to date, to me. Some people are on your side and a bunch of people are in the middle. Cool thing about opinions, that.

If it’s true that the MCU’s Thanos is driven by having been unable to prevent a huge number of people from dying, that’s a pretty drastic departure from his persona in the comics, wherein he literally worshiped death and killed half the galaxy.

That’s an insightful comment, and there have been very few from either the pro or con TLJ camps. Thanks!

I loved how in the end, Luke used the mythos built up around him, the legend, in an unexpected way, showing that that it could be useful and good.

It does not apply to DSC because they dont have to explain and spend time in show to explain things away.

Hydrox pretty much nailed it on the head

You (and others) might think it does not feel like Trek, I (and others)on the other hand firmly identify it as Trek.

2 - has never really been achieved in any show. TNG was vastly different to TOS, DS9 vastly different to TNG, VGR vastly different to DS9, ENT vastly different to VGR.
