I believe its relative to the chips the manufacturers use. One of the crazy things I learned during covid/chip shortage was that most car makers require these old simple basic chips because their cheap, that better chips exist and are possible to make a “new” standard with more features, but they don’t want to pay for…

I’m loving seeing more and more makers going hybrid for their performance! Mostly because it riles up all the change fearing boomers and dullards. I’ll never understand the logic of hating hybrid performance cars. There’s literally no argument for preferring wasting tons of gas for inferior performance. 

Personally for me its the 87 xlt eddie bauer bronco, only because as a kid my dad had one and it never managed to stay stuck when we’d take it off road or down sloppy soaked muddy back dirt roads.

I just can’t stand seeing average used cars STILL advertised for over NEW MSRP Pricing... Just saw a ‘22 civic si, for 33k.... 

Although the “old head” in me still wants something in the vein of the OG movie, I think this one is going to be pretty good, albeit a bit PG. My hope is it’ll do good and maybe open the door down the line for something for the middle aged crowd that dances during the vanilla ice scene in TMNT II 

Will this have a ripple effect on used car inventory too? I imagine if the mandatory dealer markups eventually go away, so will the increased market value of used cars. Those prices have been stupid the last 3 years. 

Minus the drug trafficking, the cybertruck is following the same plot as the delorean.

It’s not so much a demand issue, as it is a greedy dealership markup issue. I haven’t seen any new ford vehicles priced at or below msrp in 2 years! Even used newer vehicles are advertised with outrageous markups! If anything THATS whats causing them to sit. Maybe the dealer knows they won’t sell it for 15-20k mark…

• Teslas - I remember when the smugmobile was the first few generations of Prius..... Now its Tesla, the whole brand/product tagline should be “because we think we’re better than you” The styling is terribly bland, reminds me of driving an apple mouse.

I need to replace the driver side sun visor. It broke off randomly about a year ago and i haven’t tried to purchase a new one because I think they’re ridiculously expensive for what they are.

For me its the domestic muscle cars, all of them. Yes they’re cool looking, make a lot of noise and go pretty fast. Yes everyone drives them, and yes the build quality is ok, but definitely not amazing by any means. 

It didn’t get called godzilla until the R32, and again, its not about the car not being good, its the hype surrounding it. Skyline/Supras most times are interpreted as world beaters, without the context of the legendary ones being tuned and modified to hell to get to those levels. 

I think its funny how him and MTG are basically donald duck sabotaging their own campaigns. 

And the proof is where exactly? because if it’d been a private citizen, you know there’d be proof and a lawsuit pending. 

Yes it makes perfect sense to fire someone for literally doing their job. never mind her gaslighting and blowing the whole situation out of proportion. It is strange as I leaned towards the hybrid but would’ve preferred awd. Now that Ford pulled the odd switcheroo, I don’t mind the ecoboost awd being the base trim now.

The current prius gets my vote as well. It just looks so much sleeker than it was, kind of reminds me of something from bttf2. My runner up is also the maverick. I just love the dimensions of it and can’t wait for the street version
