I remember reading somewhere that the engineers said for whatever reason they couldn’t add awd to the hybrid drive train for whatever reason.

This is such a weird thing to do on the surface. “lets take the cheaper base model, make THAT option cost more, than the higher performing awd ICE model”

I mean they’re falling further and further behind autos/dcts. Also some autos are geared with longer lower gears to be even faster than their manual counterpart too. The argument for manuals is basically like comparing analog audio to digital, some people just have a preference of enjoyment now.

The fact that the grid is being kept alive by renewable energy, and yet Abbott can’t seem to stand up for renewable energy (pun intended), just proves how backwards and corrupt Texas Government is.

I actually heard of this via a Video by @thatdudeinblue, where he pointed out the teaser itself only shows shots of the automatic trim with paddle shifters and the like.

So with regular new Z’s going for 60k, this ones gonna get listed for 6 figs at some point...... smfh

I 2nd the Toyobaru Coupe, however, the advice to do an engine swap is dumb... You can just tune and maybe add a supercharger kit and be better off than a full on engine swap.

This is what happens when your company is run by someone completely egotistical and out of touch with reality. There’s probably been designers and engineers who’ve pitched viable solutions for the truck, but you know Musky is shooting them down because he’s a geniass, and thinks there’s no way all of the tried and

My favorite would have to be Alex Zanardi, I loved how he bounced around F1 and CART in the US, and it thrilled me when he’d win here in CART and do smoking donuts after a victory. Also how later in life he had a horrific accident that required amputation, to which he still kept racing in all kinds of racing styles.

surely these off road trucks would never ever ever add such things....

wow I could’ve sworn it was just 3 as well! They all kinda blur together for me.

It would be pretty neat if they made an EV s2k style car with decent range when not driven hard. My concern is making it handle like a sports car if they go full ev.

aren’t we mid 2023 at the moment now?

Didn’t they also lose a ton of their “fanbase” in California? I read that the majority of past Tesla enthusiasts have jumped ship to other EV makers, Mercedes, etc.

*buying direct from Elon anyways

56k jeezus !

Oh I love the Maverick! But I feel the OG Ranger was still more affordable even with inflation factored in compared to the maverick.

Has there been any mention of an XRunner Trim returning?

The original ford ranger gets my vote. Most folks I knew that needed to downgrade to a more affordable vehicle almost always went with a cheap ranger when they existed. Now Rangers cost close to F150 money sadly.

Personally I really liked the first gen Fit’s looks. I remember checking one out because I Wanted something roomier than my fr-s and was amazed out how much storage space there was in the hatch with the rear seats folded down.
