They could have : 1. Taken their time and release it later, 2. Not made Let’s Go version because it didn’t add anything, 3. Make the new game a worthy successor instead of a cash-grab with stripped resources (and still 2 copies of the same product), and 4. Use the already existing animations for older Pokemon.

Well, you do know that it will be the exact same experience as previous iterations, right? If they are not adding “on top”, but instead “replacing” stuff.. then you could play the older games again and again.

It’s not like they are adding needed changes.. like an online hub with tournaments, mini-games, trade-shops and…
