Just have the remote ready so you can press Mute & look away. Takes some discipline, but worth the effort.

Nazir is just wrapping Brody more into his web by testing him, seeing how far he'll go, so he'll know when he asks Brody to do something really really big Brody will actually do it. Otherwise, yeah, it doesn't seem like a very terroristy thing to do.

The tailor was going to die at the safe house anyway, Brody surely knew this, and knows the guy is cracking up, and wouldn't last 10 minutes under interrogation. The mission, whatever it is, however ill-defined this one, always comes first. Not to mention simple self-preservation.

Agree with the fairly accurate portrayal of mania, though I'm not sure I buy going from super high to suicidally depressed in one day. But I've said elsewhere I'm not bothered by the show's relationship to reality. She's messed up & I can relate.

I didn't find Brody's mishaps bleakly comic, or anything other than unbelievably tense. I don't think I've ever been so tense for an entire episode of tv. I didn't actually see the neck break, I was looking away. I couldn't fucking take it.

I think it's an Airstream, not a Winnebago. Still magic, though.

Knox's original plan wasn't to nuke South Africa, though. He only got that unhinged when his plans fell apart. He wanted to take over a country & then in his own screwed up way use it to assert Africa's power onto the world stage, so it would no longer be the world's doormat, dominated by racist white guys, apart from

I don't really want the show to mature from tits 'n' guns, at least not too much. That's part of what makes it unique. Usually that kind of show is ridiculous & hard to take seriously. The sex scenes may seem over the top but they fit well because everything these guys do is over the top, extreme, or whatever you want

More like Harrison Ford when he has to take a really big dump, but can't find a toilet. DQ's frowny face is ridiculous, as is the extraordinary amount of makeup he needs to hide the decades of hard living behind him. Chiklis was good tonight, but Lamb is a silly cartoon character.

Ha ha, yes indeed. And dumb ol' Dec just bought himself a whole heap o' new trouble. Thanks for the reminder. That boy is dumber than dirt.
