Fair enough.
Fair enough.
Maybe you're in less of a position to notice them because they aren't telling you to shut up.
Honestly, I think a lot of the pushback we see when it comes to including trans women and women-only spaces is that there is always that vocal group (are they a minority? I would hope so, but I don't know) that derails EVERYTHING. You can't say vagina. You can't talk about periods. Mentioning having two X chromosomes…
Stabler would be a terrible actual cop, but god damn if it isn't satisfying to watch him beat the crap out of child-molesters.
I agree. He absolutely has an ethical obligation to completely isolate himself from children.
Geez, it shows up with your real name? I've honestly never even tried it, I was assuming you'd use it to log in and then select a screen name. That's freaking awful, why is that a thing?
Some of us use burners to legitimately comment, though. I've been using this one for god knows how long. Anonymous accounts are good for the safety-conscious among us. I do NOT want to have to log in via one of various data-gathering services to post cat gifs on an internet gossip blog, you know what I mean? There are…
Yeah, I was about to suggest that. Waiting periods for new burners would definitely help (possibly more than an IP trace, and without the negative repercussions). If they're the same images, you can also hash 'em and enter them into an autoban database so anyone attempting to post them gets blocked/deleted/banned.
I doubt it. Liability.
True. She changed on the chair. I would consider that only slightly less appropriate, though.
I'm sure it's a real pain in the ass. That doesn't make her less of an asshole. We all have to do things that suck in order to get along in society.
Eh, place should have had a changing table.
It wasn't a predetermined part of the curriculum, but somebody asked what it was and they explained it to us. It was a really great sex ed program.
Apologies, it seemed to be implied by your comment. I must have misinterpreted.
It's basically used to mean getting whiny and upset over something the speaker thinks is trivial.
I hope you know you just set my inner grammarian on fire.
What is the damage you're fearing here? That's what confuses me. What awful thing do you think will happen if 13 and 14-year-olds are taught about bondage in a controlled school setting rather than learning about it from shitty werewolf fanfics that have terrible consent?
My 7th and 8th grade sex ed was way more comprehensive than that, and I credit that for instilling me with a healthy view towards adult sex. Very sex-positive, lots of consent, boundaries, "sex is for both people," how to say no to something you don't want to do, etc. They taught us in pretty good detail about various…

Indeed.
