I think it is perfectly reasonable to dislike children as long as you don't make your dislike of them everyone else's problem.

I'm right there with you. He can kick her out if he wants, but having someone steal her phone and then going through her personal shit? That is very not okay.
I always sleep in underwear. I fart in my sleep. Can't be fartin' all over my sheets.
Right?
Eeyup. It's like, if they're going to assume we're stealing for no reason and treat us like garbage because of it, they kinda deserve to have their shit stolen.
Right? Could she be any more pretentious and self-aggrandizing? Saying "I'd like to share a passion for certain types of food with my partner" is one thing, but this entire article is riddled with this ridiculous grade-school-level judgmental snottiness about food preferences. Talk about acting like a child.
We had a similar policy at the Whole Foods I used to work at. We had to have managers check our bags every night before we left to "prevent theft."
At least they're trying. I hope they find them and get that little girl somewhere safe.
You. I like you.
but anyone will tell you that those symptoms are code for exactly what I just said.
Yoooou mean the obsolete DSM-IV?
Okay, first of all, you sound like a total asshole armchair diagnosing your friend. "pseudologia fantastica"? Nobody calls it that. Could you be more pretentious if you tried?
Aside from that generally being an incredibly ignorant and douchey view on mental health, are you seriously lumping BPD in there with NPD and ASPD? Those are not similar disorders at all. Borderline causes a lot of suffering to the people who have it, doesn't involve callousness or a lack and empathy, and it's also…
Yeah. As horrifying as this is, it's really a very good thing that she found this out now before she tries to raise a kid with him.
Holy shit, take that baby away from them. Please god tell me Australia is going to remove that little girl.
I feel ya. As someone with pretty severe OCD, I see a lot of myself in bleu cheese guy. I would never yell at a server, but I can totally see myself freaking right out at not getting the correct amount of bleu cheese. And I can see myself eating bites in sequence like that, a nice little repetitive pattern.
Posting stories about things that happen in the world, good or bad, is cynical and mean-spirited? When someone does something like this, do you think the world should just pretend it never happened and wander off whistling into the sunset? Everything's fine so long as you don't have to think about it, right?
Agreed.
I feel really bad for them . It sucks that fulfilling a legal requirement for a name change made their personal beez go "viral" all over the internet.
Everything is Patrick Dempsey's fault.
