I cannot wait for that day myself. Champagne cocktails all round.

And it really genuinely can happen.

I didn’t know that much about the adoption either. It is a complex issue. Agreed on the rest completely including Jindabyne. I found it hella slow too.

Thanks for the offer but my opinion is my own and I am really not that invested in the show. I don’t like Moffat in other shows either and his portrayal of women to be kinda one dimensional and creepy. However,I do agree that Lara Pulver is a great actress.

Steaming pile. Awful. When I see him on telly pontificating about academy schools, I want my fist to interact with the screen.

It pleases me enormously that Ian McShane sounds like his own old Lancastrian self when swearing in mistakes. He sounds like my uncle awwww.

LOL I know. I was like “don’t tell me they are all in on it AND the floor is a big mattress”.

Same. I was so terribly disappointed with the whole last series. Too much special effects and if you don’t fancy Cumberbatch (like me AT ALL), the show is just fannying about. I watched for Lars Mikkelsen and was very pleasantly surprised by Amanda Abbington. But I also think that the “female in disguise” thing was

This is the best twist on Moriarty done on screen. THE BEST.

SHe is also married to the very beautiful Raza Jaffrey. They make a horrifically envious couple.

Really? I thought she was Catherine Trammell style cartoon awful. And that it was hilarious that Arthur Conan DOyle wrote a more progressive female role in original than Stephen Moffatt lol. I realise it is a theory of my own and I do absolutely want to have a good look around her wardrobe. I may get into her shoes

Berberian Sound Studio is another good one. I love that movie.

He does. And maybe he will manage to make something decent out of Moffat’s often cringeworthy dialogue and weird assed deductions. Lars Mikkelsen managed.

Melisandre did it. “For the magic”. Yeah right, lady?

That is a great movie and I saw it years ago and should watch it again. DLF is very very underated. I wasn’t keen on the movie Jindabyne (okay but flawed) but she was great in it and I loved the landscape.

I always think, with those sort of profiles, about Jennifer Egan’s A Visit from the Goon Squad. The section about the teen star being interviewed by a fawning male journo on the cusp of a break down and then subsequent assault. I imagine that kind of thing has happened in real life. Some of these “interviewers” are

BTW Kara - Someone female from the Kardashian’s circle is hinted at going on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK this week. Judging from the trailers. I reckon it might be BC. Would they let a pregnant woman come to the UK and go into the house? Absolutely. This is the kind of heinous stunt they look for in a star. Does

LOTS of people think this way but they don’t say it out loud. Regular people think horrible despicable irrational things about any social group who has to everything the long way. See cutns like that Toby Young who think disability access, aka a ramp at a school, is “PC gone mad” and that Thatcher should be

Same. I am all over Resurrection Jon. For same reasons. Raargh.
