I was really glad to hear that Daley was making the movie, because that episode of Freaks & Geeks in which the characters play D&D is probably the first really accurate depiction of what playing the game is like.
Fault Zack Snyder for a lot of things, but failing to stitch together coherent gobbledygook world building when he’s the actual writer isn’t one of them.
Is it really that surprising that a movie called “The Flash” has partial nudity in it, though?

This movie is directed by the same guys who made Game Night, and that’s one of my favorite comedies from the last five years, so I’m in.
I’ll admit I haven’t watched TTG in awhile but it’s clear EVERYBODY involved is passionate about what they’re doing. And the TTG movie was HILARIOUS and a fantastic sendup of the superhero movie churn. (And god, some of the dark jokes. Like when they make sure Bruce Wayne’s parents get killed when fixing the timeline.)

I love this show, and I particularly love how it’s described as “extra kid-friendly” when there are episodes which, for example, extol the virtues of being a predatory landlord...
Probably worth mentioning that they transform into giant robot versions of animals so presumably they aren’t trying to hide among the wildlife or anything in this one.

Yep, the movie that started the entire disaster genre had no cultural impact. There haven’t been hundreds of disaster movies after that one, 52 years ago, right?
